Traveling Plans and Pets:
As we approach the last of Summer and an upcoming holiday weekend, it’s a good time to remind ourselves of important questions to ask regarding our pets when we travel.
-If your pet is traveling with you: will any documentation be needed for the trip? (If planning to fly or cross country borders, please do your homework in advance).
-If your pet takes maintenance medications, do you have enough to last until you return?
– Will you be traveling to an area with increased risk of Heartworm disease or tick-borne illness? The parasite prevalence map provided by CAPC (The Companion Animal Parasite Council) can be helpful in answering those questions.
-If your pets are staying home while you travel: Are they current on the vaccines required for boarding? If you have a petsitter, is there a plan in place for them to seek care, if your pet were to become sick or injured?

This will allow us direct integration and involvement with patient prescriptions and client requests, providing you with the personalized service you’ve come to expect from our staff, while passing on the savings normally only available through corporate online retailers. We expect to launch this partnership Fall 2025, and hope you will consider taking advantage of lower prices and the opportunity to support a small, locally-owned independent business at the same time!
Upcoming price Increases:
Starting September 1st, 2025 we will be implementing price increases on our services. This decision came out of necessity, due to a rise in operational and staffing costs. We appreciate your understanding.
A celebrity in our midst- Tsuki, the Scottish Fold kitty seen here, was showcased in WW Pets Issue, making the top 5 of the Best in Show Category. Let’s not tell her that a hedgehog won and took the cover. This princess lives with our Veterinary Assistant, Olivia.
