Due to an unprecedented high demand during the pandemic, we are currently unable to schedule appointments for new clients. We are not certain when this will change, but you are welcome to continue to check in with us.
Protocols for Visits at Two Rivers
As mandated by state law, please wear a mask or face covering at all times when interacting with employees or coming into the clinic.
We are not allowing clients into the exam room with our patients at this time, but you and your pet will receive the same services and level of care you have come to expect. The guidelines for appointments are as follows:
- Please arrive by your scheduled appointment time and call the office at 503-280-2000.
- A technician will talk with you and get more information about your pet’s visit. Be prepared to confirm your pet’s diet and medications and the reasons for the visit. If you need medication refills, please tell the technician at this time.
- Your technician will arrange to meet you at the front door. For dogs, they may ask that you walk with your dog to the scale, depending on your comfort level.
- You can then return to your car. If ample space (at least 6 feet) is available between people, you may stay in the lobby. Please expect frequent communication throughout your visit.
- Expect a call from the doctor or technician shortly in to your pet’s visit. For doctor appointments, this call will be to discuss their plan with you.
- We will return your pet to you as soon as possible, but may need additional time before your invoice is ready. Once finished, we can collect payment over the phone or accept payment at the front desk if you prefer.
Please inform us prior to your appointment if you have recently experienced symptoms of cough, fever, or respiratory illness; have traveled internationally, or have had known contact with a person suspected to have COVID-19.
If you have specific requests or need special assistance, please call and discuss them with us. We are continuing to adapt to the changing needs of this pandemic, and strive to find sustainable ways to keep our pets cared for.
